1. Fruit Dippers
Fruit is often times sweet and if you encourage your kids to eat it they’ll realize that and won’t struggle as much to eat them. Fruit dippers is a great way to do this. You can serve sliced strawberries or banana’s with a bowl of yogurt. Another option would be to serve celery or carrots with light ranch dressing.
2. Go Fishing
When you make things fun for kids they won’t mind giving it a try. Consider going fishing with your kids. To do this you’ll need peanut butter, celery, and cold fish crackers. You’ll want to dip the celery stick into the peanut butter and then use that end to grab a gold fish. The fish is caught when it’s in your kids mouth.
Smoothies are a great drink and most kids won’t mind drinking it because they may think it’s icecream. You can use yogurt or milk when making these. You’ll also need ice and the fruits you’re going to serve. Combinations of fruit work good too.
4. Kid Made Trail Mix
Please the ingredients you’re going to place in the trail mix into bowls and allow the kids to make their own. You can include Whole grain cereals, nuts, and dried fruit to these bowls. This will give the kids a chance to make their own and have fun doing it.
