3 Easy Solutions to Eliminate Feeling Sick after a Strenuous Workout

feel terrible. You’re not the only one that feels this way. It’s best to solve the problem so you don’t stop working
out.

There are three problems that could be causing these feelings. These problems are easy to correct, but you need to
figure out which one is causing your sick feelings first.

1. Lack of food or not enough calories can cause you to feel sick. When you’re planning on completing a strenuous
workout you need to make sure you have enough calories during the day. It’s important to remember you’re going
to burn calories during your workout and if you don’t have enough there won’t be any to burn.To solve this problem
it’s important you know what your calorie intake should be and then you need to count the calories to make sure
you’re eating enough. When you eat enough you won’t feel sick during your workout or after it’s complete.

2. Dehydration is another problem you may have that can cause you to feel sick after a strenuous workout. When
you work hard you sweat and that eliminates the fluid in your body. Lack of water or sports drinks will cause this to
happen.The solution to this problem is to drink plenty throughout the day and during your workout. A good rule of
thumb is to drink at least 64 ounces of water every day. Studies show if you drink pop or certain teas, you must
drink the same amount of water as those things, so it’s best to eliminate them all together if it’s possible.

3. The last thing that could cause you to feel sick after a strenuous workout is not enough protein. You need protein
in your diet every day and when you don’t get enough you can feel sick.The best solution is to eat something full of
protein about an hour before you workout. It doesn’t matter if it’s going to be strenuous or a standard workout, you
need the protein. It doesn’t need to be a full meal, just a snack of some sort like a protein bar, almonds, or a piece
of wheat bread with peanut butter on it.

When you follow all three of these suggestions you’ll stop feeling sick during your workouts. You’ll have the energy
you need to complete them and you’ll find you won’t dread going to them because you know you won’t feel sick
when you’re done.
